The shoes are pretty light; my husband (who wears them) noticed that when he slipped them on. They wear almost like sneakers, sit comfortably on the foot and do not pinch even after several hours. The material is airy, so the feet don't get warm so quickly, which is practical in everyday life. The insole is soft and gives way well when walking. These are all impressions from the wearer himself.
These shoes toe the line pretty well between casual dress shoe and sneaker. They have a stretchy breathable fabric and a really nice look. You could get away with these in pretty much any business casual setting
The fit is excellent right out of the box. The wearer has fairly narrow feet, and they fit perfectly at first. The knit material does have some stretch, so I expect they'll loosen a little over time, but right now they feel great. The stretchy laces are convenient but not adjustable. There's no way to tighten them, so eventually we may swap them out for regular or even brown leather laces to match the trim.
